-CORK TAINT- Stay tuned
Updated tasting notes:
Much better the second time. Dark purple in the glass, and harboring vegetal aromas, black tea leaf, cracked black pepper, and cherry syrup on the nose. The pallet was slightly off balance, showing more acidity, and exhibiting notes of stewed cherry, mineral, oak spice, nutmeg, and a smooth finish. Pairs well with meats.

Apr 5th, 2016Medium ruby to purple in color; green peppercorns , cherries, and dried herbs on the nose; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; tastes like raspberries, plums, and bell peppers with a long fruity finish. Nellie says it's ok. I like it. Paired really well with a steak.

Feb 23rd, 2024Damn tasty. Nicely balanced, soft tannins, a little fuller bodied than others I’ve had.
