Medium Ruby with fresh ripe berry fruit flavors with earthy floral spice notes, aged for 11 months in French oak (26% new). On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with tea, herb and citrus adding some floral notes. Fine tannins on long finish ending with fruit and slight earthy character. Good now, will benefit from short-term aging.

A nice entry level Ponzi. Aromas of dark berry fruits with hints of sweet spice and oaky notes. On the palate blueberry and cherry flavors with cacao and cola tones. Fine delicate tannins, good balance, lingering ending with light spice. Nice.

2016- rich dark fruits. Blackberries, cranberries. Rich earthy body. Subtle spicy finish with light tannins for a smooth finish. Very well balanced. Would be amazing if sat for a few years

Medium ruby color. Charred wood cherry vanilla on the nose (with a mustiness), and a hint of white pepper. Medium bodied and dry, with unstained legs. Acidity is medium plus. Alcohol is almost high at 13.9 ABV. This is very well balanced. Medium soft tannins. Nice wine.

Nice fruit and a nice balance to finish for a Pinot Noir. Ponzi winery has been around for years. Just like most wines may get better with age, this winery has also done the same with their wines. Every year they seem to get better & better. Great wines.
