Amazing aroma of dried and fresh cherries, leather, coffee and just rolled together so elegantly yet very expressive. Rich flavors but a driving acidity, very good with red pasta sauce but would be on even another level with sausages or steak

Decanted for 2 hours. Extreme tannins before decant, great balance structure wise after the decant. Not usually a fan of Italian wines due to being over tart. But really enjoying the subdued tartness on this one. On the nose: tart cherry, herbs, graphite minerality. On the tongue: tart cherry, strawberry, graphite, herbs, hint of black fruit. Acidity is high! Super enjoyable with a simple red pasta dish.

Flowers in the aroma. Then complex blend of vanilla, oak, rosemary, almonds, and cherries, followed by a bright, tight and somewhat silky finish.
