Good, not great...I’m in Champagne, how bad can it be!

At opening, white smog with red fruits aroma came. Beautiful salmon pink. Well balanced taste and its acidity to drink more and more. Later on, slightly feel strawberry. @2850, wine plus, 191115

Sharing some of the hallmarks of the superb 2002 at a similar stage – namely its tightly coiled, lemon freshness, this has added breadth and complexity. A classic Pol vintage blend – 60% Pinot Noir with 40% Chardonnay. There is a real depth and power lurking, with gingerbread, brioche, red and orchard fruit on the palate tapering into a finish of extraordinary length. This definitely needs at least a couple of years in the cellar to unlock the hidden complexity. Whisper it quietly, but I think this could turn out to be better than the 2002.

Zjevne veliky potencial!

Lingonberry and pumpkin spice - complex. Bubbles from 93’ are still hanging on a bit! The palette is outstanding - gentle attack that builds in weight to a finish that lingers wonderfully.
