Terlo Vigna Costa Grimaldi Barolo Nebbiolo

Very balanced, dense while elegant, really enjoyable

2013. Still young but showing all its lovely sides after a double decant. Paired nicely with rich mushroom ravioli in brown butter sage sauce. Smooth tannins. Dried flowers and some earthy-ness drive the palate. Super old school classic Barolo.

With sometime it will be incredible

A beautiful wine full of classic Barolo flavors: dark cherry, tobacco, rose petal, cedar and more. Reserved yet deeply satisfying.

I probably didn’t decant long enough. I knew it was young but I wanted to try. It still needs time, but it shows great promise.

Smooth and velvety with a perfect balance of bold fruit and delicate, subtle sweetness

Very nice food wine. Almost Brunello qualities.
