2012. Lean fruit, big acid, full but sleek tannins.

Medium high dry tannins with flavors of tart cherry and rose. Went well with the grilled sirloin steak. Classic Nebbiolo wine for the region. Solid wine.

An estate that is working with the changing temperatures in the region, making a Nebbiolo that is slightly bigger and riper without any "new" techniques above the stalwart ones they've developed over centuries in the business. A warm vintage, 500 cases produced, out of the town of Neve in Barbaresco. Big and punchy but with tons of tobacco and oaky malo notes to go with it, only lacking for some nice green phenols, which only pop their heads up in terms of very subtle hints of sage. Gorgeous blackberry fruit.

Nice wine. Definitely a little brother of a Barolo. More tangy cherry and warm raspberry, chalk, Cedar and chocolate. Easy to drink.

Really easy drinking! Not too heavy but plenty of flavors: a little spicy with hints of dark fruits

An interesting wine, both acidic and fairly tannic. Could play with lots of different foods. Still, not quite worth it's $20+ price tag.
