Classic roses and tar with earthy notes. Took over an hour to smooth out, but when it did it was so very pleasant, leathery and cherry-laced. From magnum, drink up.

This was terrific. Old school earthy maybe a tinge of brett to go along with the berries and rose petals. “Balanced” and “elegant.”

The nose was wonderfully perfumed, showing sweet cherry and strawberry with dusty spices, rosy floral tones, orange zest, hints of mint and underbrush. On the palate, I found feminine textures as juicy acidity added thrust with notes of dried strawberry, inner florals and moist earth tones filling the senses. Grippy tannin mounted with each sip, drying it's red berry fruits as they saturated the palate throughout the finish, along with lingering spice and red licorice which seemed to last for well over a minute.
I can only imagine how good this will be as it's textures fill out over time. For now it's incredibly pretty, refined and slightly understated.

Roasted dusty herbs - bay leaf, rosemary, black pepper, crushed stones. Some Brett and VA. Faint tart cherry, tomato, and mint on the palate. Searing acidity, elevated tannins.
