Great Nebbiolo expression! Dried rose, candied orange, spices, young yet showing beautiful potential. Lovely with the wild pheasant.

2011. Had this in Taipei, Steakhouse with supplier. Very good, ready to drink, Barolo, well balanced acidity, fruits and tannins. I'm surprised how easy to approach it was got such a young vintage...

Feel young. At least more than 3 years is necessary. But, if it is tasted with beef, the direction of its taste is better. Still have a strong acidity means this wine's potential. . In case of serving Barolo, it is better to choose more than 10 years vintage. @4900, XBuonoBella, 170316

Magnificent showing this evening; the sturdy '06 is finally coming into its own, showing fine-tuned, grainy and sweet tannins, framing the lush red berries and forest floor aromas/flavors. Great Burgundy profile but of course providing more grip, yet sharing a similar acidic structure. This will easily cruise another 15+ years. Bravo!

Dark fruit, smokey and spicy, tart red fruit. Soft powdery tannins, gorgeous integration. Drink now or hold 10+yrs

Tannins alive. Acidic. Flavors hang on the front of the tongue.

Overpowering tannins, saline, oyster shell. Disappointing. The fruit is gone. A little TCA smell but not totally flawed, just gone.
