Big 'd Big Barolo Nebbiolo

Unbelievably youthful at open, this 21 year-old took an hour to open up, and it did with a tobacco and cherry laced nose, steeped in wood. Sweet cherry, leather and subtle notes of clove and vanilla. Lighter side of Barolo, not the most complex, but delightful.

Damn this is drinking well! With a ribeye on the grill, perfect!

Big Barolo indeed. Concentrated with oak, smoke, dark fruit, and tannins. Incredible color for its age. I can only imagine what this wine was like in its early years.. #Barolo
