I love this wine; the 2017 is a plump, fragrant, characterful Chianti, but can be just a touch on the volatile side at times - that was accentuated in day 2 as it seemed the vacu-stopper didn’t seal properly and the wine got more air than ideal overnight.

Mar 31st, 2020This is a bit broader, more diffuse, softer and browner (spices) than the 2016, which is more focused and detailed. Still very nice
