Garnet colored w/fair bit of bricking - hi toned red fruit esp. cherries, w/a lot of secondary notes of bacon, tar, violets, soil, pepper, dried herbs. Very expressive after an hour or so - elegant, med weight, light on its feet, juicy - harmonious & balanced. Great chance to taste mature wine in its window.

Another Nebbiolo ( Chiavennasca) from the Lombardy region. Nice and light with some tea, spice and licorice notes.

Really liked it, would never have guessed it was Nebbiolo being lighter and barely tannic. Light and bright pleasantly better and rustic
