Bere bene quotidiano....says the back label (good everyday drinking) which is spot on. Excellent value at €16 and excellent accompaniment to a good pizza. Not sure about the cocoa and balsamic notes, but stood up to 'olio piccante' and came out smiling -as was I.

Aromas of cherry and plum, hits of red licorice. I was hoping that with the interesting, modern style blend that this would be an interesting wine with depth and character. This is not the case. The wine was very bland and boring.

More tannins, black pepper and sort of spicy, but very good and doesn't linger. Some good red fruit on the palate.
