Tre bicchiere wine. Still a baby, but extremely enjoyable. 2012 vintage.

Dark ruby with aromas of dark cherry, forest floor, and earthy. On the bud, it dark fruits, tartness, and a mild spice note. The finish is medium.

Well that was different. This was kind of a potpourri, dried and mixed fresh flowers going on there with some olive oil grassiness and a bit of underripe plum. It was an interesting mix of flavors, really all over the board with floral and herbaceous and ripe fruit. Not much in the way of tannins so the depth of flavor didn’t last that long but still it was an interesting expression of the wine of the area.

Drinkable. Luckily I had a good view and an ice bucket to chill the sweet yet chalky finish of this one.

Not bad. A bit light for my tastes - reminded me a lot of Beaujolais.
