I have no idea what wine the folks who rated this below 9 were drinking, because this 2005 Pisoni is awesome. Was expecting it to show signs of age - maybe even be past peak - but it's drinking beautifully right now. Great balance between primary fruit and some secondary flavors, the wine is seamless from start to finish. A great offering from the Father of Santa Lucia Highland pinot noir!
