Nose: mild chèvre, nuts, lemon meringue. A teeny bit of pastry. Bodes well. Taste: good, but a little grapey - a nice toastiness, a little salinity. Too much white grape juiciness. Not enough citrus acidity. Good, but not worth the upgrade to champagne for me. I’ll stick with my cremants. 88-89. EDIT: another reviewer mentioned baked yellow apple and that is dead on.

Pale yellow color. Aromas of biscuit and hazelnut. Beautiful lemon custard notes, biscuit and small delicate, plentiful bubbles.
