Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon

Seventh wine and second one from Stags Leap District. Moderate intensity in the red shade with slight brownish edges. Sort of a fiend for this kind of nose. Started of with a slight vegetal/bell peppers on the nose and opened to a more dirty cellar and some lighter dark fruits. Moderate plus tannins (7.5/10) with moderate plus body. Slightly dry in the month finish but the body was coated in solid dark fruits and balanced acidity. Nice bit of spices too. Drink till 2030.

Drinking a Napa Cab in lieu of my planned trip there next week that had to be cancelled. Crystallization on the cork. Dark garnet, almost black in the glass. Heady rose petal nose with notes of smoke. Leather, dark milk chocolate, sweet cherry, baking spice. Smooth finish that has lost some length with time in the cellar. #pineridge such a solid cab from an amazing winemaker! Dark fruit a little spice and an amazing finish.

I received this as a gift, very fancy, meaty, and delicious!

Couldn't get much easier to drink than this one. Even a drink from a just-opened bottle is amazing.

Buttery and Delicious. Oh meh gawd.
