The 2022 Rosso di Montalcino is cool-toned and fresh, with a cascade of perfumed florals, white smoke and dried strawberries forming its bouquet. It is soft-textured and round, with vibrant acidity and juicy wild-berry fruits that cascade throughout. Violet and lavender tones linger as the 2022 finishes spicy and spry with a gentle tug of fine tannin. (Eric Guido, Vinous, September 2024)

The 2020 Rosso di Montalcino opens with a dark bouquet, blending crushed ashen rocks with dried cherries and earth tones. It’s silky and round in texture, coasting ripe red fruits across an energizing core of juicy acidity. The 2020 leaves a staining of primary concentration while finishing long, with hints of hard candies and sweet spice that slowly fade. This is a very pretty Rosso that simply needs more time in bottle to blossom aromatically. (Eric Guido, Vinous, October 2022)

Hard to tell this is not a real Brunello.

Печеная вишня с корицей, пряности, шоколад. Вкус насыщенный, с оформленными танинами, умеренная кислотность, долгое послевкусие. 15.5/20 (86/100)

Elegant young Sangiovese from the Montosoli hills of Montalcino. Paired perfectly with steak and Gorgonzola.

This was still good, but definitely showing signs of aging.

Opened this gem last night. It was really in fantastic shape, mature fresh fruit, some nice spices, great acidity. Didn’t taste too aged yet, Looking forward to a couple more years on the rest.
