Tonight's winner. The 2006 still has some road to travel on the shelf. Thank goodness I have another one. Still some tannins, but already taking on its second life. Fantastic colour and flavour. Delicious.

With Jaime and Ignacio. Cherry twizzler nose. Delicious red fruit cherry tobacco smooth tannins. Length. Absolutely yummy. Prob near peak but3- 5 years at least. Love it.

Tsssssss. Eating this with reverse ravioli carbonara, Jamon that eats truffles and chestnuts for a living AND filet mignon. Fantastic wine. This is what wine should be.
