Corks gives away who made this Garagiste private label. A nice blue collar dinner wine. Nose has loads of crunchy dark cherry, crushed limestoney soil, and a forest floor note. A blast of dry cherry/berry fruit opens on the palate, but it quickly gives way to some stony mineral notes. Nice zingy acids too. The tannins are resolved, but the zestiness says this will last a couple more years.

Lioco is on the cork of this Garagiste private label wine, we have liked the Lioco version of this Mendocino County Carignan in the past as well, darkfruits, 13.2% ABV, good acidity, richer and more complex than the Roussilion red we had earlier, solid.
