Very good 18’s here. Deep luscious wine with deep blackberry and black cherry fruit. Furry tannins and lovely mineral freshness. Nose is insanely complex and deep with stones, black cherry liquer, black cherry essence, spice and dark florals Really great. Wonderful mouthfeel and a tiny bit of heat that I hope resolves with air.

Nov 2nd, 2023Stupid great nose. Huge cherries, Menthol, sappy red cherries, so many, wow, super stoney, super aromatic. Kirsch, lipstick like intensity. Such purity. Just a studly nose. Loam and inner earth elements. Palate is crazy. Huge huge sweetness of fruit. Powerful and concentrated with such sappy fruit and so slippery and pure. This is very impressive. There is a massive structure here that ensures a very very long life. Terrific inner mouth aromas. Awesome hit of creaminess in the mid palate. Very elegant and delineated with crunch and freshness. Long, amazingly detailed fruit and such sap. Finishes distinctly mineral. Terrific wine and had a very long life ahead of it.
