Nose is a bit woody but also clear and precise. Cherry pit, red cherry flesh. Brambley raspberries. Palate has great concentration and such tiny berry fruit intensity. Black cherry and black cherry pastille. Superb purity and great cut and flavor delineation. A little better than a recent 17 Robardelle. Sappy and fresh. Just lovely stuff. These need really 24 hours to become more elegant and expressive but very very good now with a 45 minute splash decant.

Pierrick Bouley volnay 1er cru Ronceret.
Nose is earthy.
Palate is mid to late season cherry fruit. Elegant. A bit dusty in a good way. Pretty old school burgundy. Not quite that fassy just picked cherries Hines by a laser exploding in the mouth. But very good old school burgundy.
