Atherton Wine Imports 2026 tasting at République, Los Angeles. 2023 vintage. Light-medium body. More acidity than fruit right now (not exactly news) but not as out of balance as you might suspect. Nice pedigree and effort but will be better in 3-4 years and tastes like you could extend that invite to a full decade should you so choose. 3.18.26.

One of the better C-M I’ve had, esp at the village level. Super fine cut and more Chablisean than Chassagnean. 😜

Waxy to begin, but opened up into something more yellow fruit forward with good mineral bite. Quite something!
