Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2019 Hommage à “Marguerite” is a blend of three 1er cru vineyards in Saint-Aubin: Les Perrieres, Les Combes, Les Creots. The wine pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of green apple, lemon, starfruit, mixed white and yellow flowers, marzipan and chalky minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and there’s a lovely, creamy texture that accompanies the racy acidity. Drink now through 2039.

2017. Almost wente clone CA like but with way more minerality. Beautifully expressive with time. Opens up huge but Shows more restraint as the night goes on. It somehow gets more focused over time. Very nice indeed
