Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey
Les Perrières Meursault 1er Cru Chardonnay
Wow. A punchy nose of citrus, marzipan, lifted lime. Resolved on the midpalate with great acidity. Delicious.

Jun 24th, 2022Beautiful viscosity & heathered honey. Slightly sour lemons, lime zest, golden apple, green apple, apricots, pineapple juice, strong but, pleasant minerality (you know it’s Meursault), big sea fossils, excellent, pronounced powdery chalkiness, saline, a touch more woodiness than per usual for most white burgundy, some white spice, hints of fresh herbaceousness, yellow lilies and spring flowers. The acidity is racy. The finish is round, rich, lush, sexy, voluptuous, elegance defined, well knitted & balanced, persisting nicely onto spice & minerals.
It is very good now but if you own it, keep in the cellar another 3-5 years.

Powerful, dense, rich yet firm, bright and energetic.
