This is still incredibly young, even more so than the Caillerets.

Wow, flinty, match stick, toasty, reductive style that's reminiscent of Coche. Saline, full of minerality. Very very lovely. Decanted for a hour.

Being a huge PYCM fan that I am, this was the first "meh" bottle I've had. It was still Pierre-Yves with mouth-watering acidity, summer fruit aromas and all that — just a bit too toasty to my taste, a bit too much of pronounced oak. It lacked that masculine elegance that I'm after in PYCM wine, but still was delicious and lovely.
