Magnificent! Balance of cram, mineral, flowers and acidity. Better with time open, but wow.

Tasted blind. Deep, medium gold color. On the nose some dirtiness, maybe taint. Notes of lemon, earth, citrus and some stones. Rich with impressive acidity in the mouth. Guessed 1986 Niellon. Developed more complexity over the afternoon. Great mouth feel but there was oft-putting flaw in the nose that never went away.

The white Burgundies produced by Pierre Morey are simply some of the best Meursaults on earth...comparable if not better than Coche Dury, Roulot, Lafon et al. This 2007 Perrières was class in a glass!

On the nose, interesting green, melon nose - pretty. On the palate, rich popcorn, slight carmel, still slight tenseness which should open with more time.

Better of the 2 but not that expressive even after hours of air...not sure where this will go

Ripe, voluptuous with citrus, yellow apple aromas, yeastiness, and a toasted Brazil nut edge with just enough funk to keep things interesting. Although ripe, the acidity is fresh and palate cleansing, and there is lots of texture as well. Fabulous.

Honeyed, alive with a hint of fino.

Lovely, crisp acidity along with ripe pineapple, quince and pear, beautifully integrated subtle oak, some earthiness, and oodles of complexity.
