Stewed fruit, pomegranate, black licorice and a little hot on the nose. The palate core is stewed dark fruit with some serious smoke, oak, and alchohol. Overall, a little out of balance with all those components and the alcohol stands out more with the heavy tannins.

A pretty good wine. All Grenache. We had the 2009 Vintage on 9/16-17/18. Tastes of dark cherry, cedar, and pepper. A full bodied wine with some spice on the finish.
