Pierre-Henri Morel
Lieu-Dit Pignan Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend
Stewed fruit, pomegranate, black licorice and a little hot on the nose. The palate core is stewed dark fruit with some serious smoke, oak, and alchohol. Overall, a little out of balance with all those components and the alcohol stands out more with the heavy tannins.

May 13th, 2019A pretty good wine. All Grenache. We had the 2009 Vintage on 9/16-17/18. Tastes of dark cherry, cedar, and pepper. A full bodied wine with some spice on the finish.

Sep 16th, 20182012 vintage, opened Jan 2017. Lovely balance. Sorry, we sucked down the bottle before I could do a detailed description. We all loved it though.

A powerhouse! This is classic with its black fruit, herbs de Provence, and anise seed flavors. Barnyard funk emerges with air along with a streak of minerality. Let this sleep for another 3-5 years for better integration.
