I liked this one a whole lot, as it doesn't try to be something it's not. Straightforward, honest, clean, tilting towards modernity, this carry caressing tanning framing the pretty fruit and palate cleansing acidity.

Classic CDP. Dark fruit of cassis, stewed blackberry, plum, and some clove spices round out the nose. Dark cherry, plum, and blackberry dominate the palate. Good structure and balance with medium weight tannins suggest aging at least another 10 years (2025).

Dark cherry tobacco

This wine is like chomping on a pencil, smoking a pipe full of peace, and eating dark ripened tree fruit. Lingering, secret whispering tannins keep back and forth across my tongue, with a weight to carry it all, which I will voluntarily do.

This 2010 drinking swell right now.

Deep beautiful nose, memories of the mistral, and how the earth smelled in the wind. Focused, medium bodied with dark pitted fruits. Good flavor profile, and an amazing value. I love C-D-P, and always great memories from this region.
