Eclat De Calcaire Bourgogne Chardonnay

Not bad for what it is

Starting to enter another phase in it's development, some aged burgundy characteristics starting to emerge.

Lemon. Green apple. Tart. Acidic. Somewhat flat / lacks elegance.

Punches way above it’s cost. Acid is Chablis like and could even pass as one.

Beautiful stil and now entering a new phase. Enough stuffing to carry this wine some more years. Some hay and honey nectar start to emerge.

Clean and correct BB

Meursault village ringer just barely lighter-bodied. Impressive!

High Acidity. Need to wait for a few years or decant it. Oak, citrus, lemon. Salt. Pierre Girardin Eclat de Calcaire Ch 21 @2150, Fred, 240608

All you want from a bb. A great match with asparagus & coquilles.
