Deep golden color. Vibrant aromatics, jumping out of the glass. White flowers, ginger root, honeysuckle, a touch smokey but balanced by sweet apricots. Layers of melon too. Ginger spice dominates the palate, accented by round stone fruit. Viscous and rich. Just enough acid. Paired wonderfully with seared salmon. Drink or hold. Purchased at winery. 100% Roussanne.

Nice, bold St Jo. A bit too much minerality for my taste; makes for a less that smooth finish. But, otherwise a very good wine.

100% Roussanne, 5% new oak. On the nose, rocks and lemons. Slight nuttiness. In the mouth lemon zest, wet rock and slight walnut finish. A little midpalate sensation of sweetness. Medium-long finish. Nice Rhone white, very food friendly.
