Earthy red fruit, some green pepper, barnyard a touch of rubber and black pepper spice on the nose. Sweet-tart and silky on the palate. Medium bodied. Echoes of black pepper on the finish.

Meaty. Rich with nice Syrah development. A lush edge to it as well.

Super nice, opened massively after 45 minute decant. Soft tannins, terroir, berries.

Drinking with mom and dad for my last night in MA. Color is beautiful garnet with brown. Nose definitely tells you it is old. The darker red fruit comes in through the nose with earthy and leathery tones. The taste is very much the same, it is juicier than I anticipated, good tannins though and structure. From what I can tell this is very indicative of a Syrah (which makes sense as it is 90% syrah and 10% viogner). Upper Rhone. Definitely would drink again, but it is for decadent moments at $75 for the bottle.

17/20 (92/100) Вино с красивым ароматом цветов, вишни, сливы и сладких специй. Довольно плотное с высокой кислотностью. Ягодное во вкусе. Отлично! (12.04.17) #DVR2017

Gorgeous - medium bodied and translucent purple with plum and sweet red fruit nose with unmistakeable white pepper and smoke. Lithe frame but taut with a long and elegant finish. Not as burly or savory as some bigger CR’s, but a very nice wine overall
