Medium ruby red. Dried herbs and spices on the nose with white pepper, a touch floral and some red berries. Medium tannins (5/10) with herbal spices throughout. Anise, a bit of black fruits with red underneath. Light plus bodied with a medium finish.

May 7th, 2020Belated rating, doing from infamous "palate recall". Someone described as "marmalade meaty Grog...if that means tasty, balanced with light fruit wine...then they're tight. Everyday drinkable. Don't recall where or when I bought this nice Cote but it was medium red, fuller flavor than most Cotes, nice entre' and finish too. Marmalade, I dunno...
