Les Cazetiers 1er Cru Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir

Day 13 of quarantine

Not as ready or ripe as I expected. Nicely structured. Should hold for years.

Time to drink these. Tasty, but I thought it should have shown better.

Powerful Cazetiers. Nice piney, resiny note. Tannic and mineral spine. Very good.

Took about an hour to open up. Deep garnet in the glass. Gorgeous nose of cola, spices, wet leaves, mushrooms, and red licorice. The palate is black cherry cola, tart red berries, dried strawberry and dried cherry, exotic spice, and fennel. Still has enough life to go another decade, but drinking beautifully now.

Wow exceptionally delicious. Very light . Would get a 10 but it's too light for that
