Lovely, fresh and beguiling with its aromas of white flowers, citrus and touch of tropical fruit. Lots of texture, refreshing acidity, and creamy, if not heavy, mouthfeel.

Besides its acidity, this Sardinian wine is an especially good pair with seafood because it carries the smell of the ocean. Salinity bursts forth with citrus in tow, both on the nose and the palate. It’s a savory wine with loads of character, and it’s a Vermentino from Sardegna. That’s really all you need to know.

Aromatic, nice weight, bordering viscous. Phenolic finish, lengthy too. Peach, citrus, white pepper and herbs. A saltiness appeared with more air. Killer value

Everything I want from a Vermentino. Bright citrus with floral and herbal aromas. Crisp acid but with just that little extra bit of texture. Textbook. Killer pairing with sous vide octopus and chorizo.

I really like this one. Meyer lemon, lemon zest, salinity, wet stone minerality, and bracing acidity. Bought at K&L for pretty cheap. I will be buying more for summer.
