The 2018 Barbaresco San Stunet is a deep, mysterious wine. Dark red cherry, spice, leather, tobacco, incense and dried herbs build as this potent, virile Barbaresco gradually opens in the glass. There's a lot going on in the San Stunet. As is often the case, this Treiso Barbaresco has quite a bit to offer. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2022)

Busso’s 2016 Barbaresco San Stunet is a very pretty wine. Sweet dried cherry, spice, mint, star anise, cedar and sweet pipe tobacco open first as this aromatic, translucent Barbaresco opens in the glass. Light on its feet and ethereal, the 2016 is inviting, but also a bit more ethereal than Busso fans are used to. Despite the mid-weight style, the alcohol (15%) is at the limit of being intrusive. I would prefer to drink it over the next decade or so. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2020)

This 2014 Barbaresco is rather delicious, I must admin. I didn't have high hopes, but it is energetic with cherry and a touch of Negroni perhaps too. (Enjoyed at a local French bistro, where I rudely brought an Italian wine!)

Very complex nose of orange rind and potpourri, more closed on the palate, black cherry, med + acid, med + tannin

Amazing brown hue to this in the glass, showing its aging but sadly the fruit had gone with only the tannin left

Fortfarande mycket tanniner. Känns ung med rosor, nypon och viol. Bra syra och långt avslut. Svår match med mat. Parfymerad
