Dark purple. Aromas of oil cured black olives, grapefruit rind and wet stone!! This smells way less ripe than the alc would lead me to believe. Was delicious with roasted pork belly and root vegetable gratin.

Pretty high acid. Black pepper, smoke, and a hint of chocolate. Very nice.

Vegetal notes, asparagus, smoked meat, and ripe berries. Nose and palate are worlds apart. Amazing character and definition. Well done for a new world Syrah under $20
