Vieilles Vignes Chambolle Musigny Pinot Noir

I've come to believe most people grade red burgundy on an unfair curve. Compared with other red burgs, this is very solid stuff. Compared to anything else, it's flat out awesome.

Red cherries, violets, wet earth, med body, balanced and classic 👌

Juicy fruit & Vosne spice. Consistent with my prior notes

This had lots of juicy dark cherry, berry fruits, mineral & spice. Outstanding village wine.

Drinking beautifully that is consistent with my prior notes showing dark fruits, spice, mineral that is rich & sappy, balanced, with good finesse & a silky texture

Lots of cherry, berry fruits, finessed & polished with baking spices, cinnamon, earth, mineral, forest floor & violet.

This has developed nicely since last trying showing notes of rich dark cherry, berry fruits with earth, forest floor, licorice, mineral & rose petal.

Lovely. Cherry, smoke, citrus. This was so good. Had almost a sweet flower aroma. I have just a tiny glass left to try on day 2. Can’t wait.
