Really enjoyed this - and found it kepte guessing. Floral, red-fruit nose and very inviting and sweet wood-spice too. The palate has lovely Fresh fruit, red berries and tannins that have a pippy freshness and powdery texture. The oak is a little prominent on the mid palate at the moment but the standout factor is superb, gentle, pretty red that lingers for bloody ages. Ace

Drunk at the end of day two opened, so hard to tell how impressions would tally with just-opened bottle. Nose by day two very open, expressive and fresh, though not obviously Pinot. Oak spice, earth and fruit mélange could have put me in mind of lightly oaked Barbera. Very brambly and pippy picture - blackberry, raspberry and cherry - then a forest fruit flood on the palate, with nice underbrush depth and gravelly tannins that really tuck it all it. Bright, generous and really long.

2015, great smell, very tasty, herbal and low acid, light but still flavorful.

Strangely, much better decanted, more integrated. Pretty typical flavours of a new world PN, a little too much oak and warm spices for me.

Pretty delicious stuff. Will balanced with good acid bite. Not forced. Drink now.

A big and sumptuous Pinot with all the hallmarks of Gippsland. For me, lacks the acid line to clean up the big fruit. I like the wine, it's Central Otago like in that it's bigger and firmer..... But for me it's got a ways to go before it's great.
