Super light, almost too delicate. Searching for something that might not be there

Pretty standard Pinot demographics with mod minus tannin and mod plus acid. The aroma has some mushroom and wet forest floor to it with red cherry cola, raspberries, and blackberry to it. $20 deal here

2014 vintage. Blind tasted the 2013 once and was blown away by how smooth and supple it was. The 2014 has a more supreme sour cherry nose but the palate still has that oak influenced roundness with the tart cherry spiking in. Cola and spice included, but there's too much sour fruit to really consider this a well balanced pinot. For what you will pay (~$15) it's definitely worth it.

Decent #marlborough #pinotnoir - a day after opening, cooked cherries, some prune notes suggesting oxidation on the nose. Lighter bodied, moderate tartness, earthy fruit, toasted oak mid-palate, peppery spice and tobacco notes on the finish. I’m sure there are much better Pinot Noir offerings from New Zealand.

First time trying New Zealand Pinot noir, nice light with fruit and well balanced. Went well with dinner. It's a good wine for the price
