A blend of 90% Sauv Blanc and 10% Semillon. Pale yellow color with aromas of citrus, floral, wet stone and tropical fruit. On the palate rich fruits of mango and peach flavors with citrus zest and earthy mineral notes on a balanced structure with lively fresh acidity. Long finish, pleasant ending with pronounced mineral character. Leave this in the cellar for a few years. Nice. Tasting Sample.

Monthly WTF wine group meet up. Theme was “bring something good”. All wines (minus the bubbles and SB) were tasted blind.

In the name of science,
@Dan Fitzgerald brought this so that we could get a feel for how these taste young since the release is tomorrow. I’ve had a few older wines and after this, it confirmed for me these can hold really nicely. Extremely bright and floral, with lychee, key limes, and wet rock aromatics. Sharp acidity on the palate wrapped in tart stone fruits, kiwi and pineapple.

Wine Nerd Herd Thursday lunch which we like to call Sauvignon Blanc on steroids - the wines are delicious and the friendship is even better - this is usually a get rowdy event with just the gents but mixed it up a little and was a blast and definitely a little slice of Heaven

Nice SB. More creamy underneath. For my taste would like a little more acidity. Beautifully made. 2016

This is a very a-typical sav blanc. Bigger body, creamy, with a prominent nose of tropical fruit, papaya and citrus pastry, with a straw green/yellow color, a mellow acidity, with plenty of grassy notes mixed with a dry minerality in the mid palate, with a creamy, lingering finish. Heavy bodied and unique. Even after exhaling several minutes later, the flavor of ultra ripe tropical fruit came forward.
