'Ma Belle-Fille' Chardonnay
Our monthly 4th Friday event at the storage facility. No requirements, just wine you want to share with others! Always an enjoyable time.
If Dan is there, you better believe top flight whites will be a part of the show. Chardonnay on all cylinders. Not buttery popcorn, more popcorn kernel...saltiness to it. Creamy lemon, savory herbs, and full bodied.

Mar 7th, 2016Undeniably well made Chardonnay with impressive viscosity, fullness and in your face decadence. I'm guessing this is a crowd pleaser. For my palate there is too much predominant oak here and a cloying sweetness on the denouement. I'm going to revisit tomorrow and see if there is a blow off. I still like it but I'd grab a Kongsgaard or Aubert over this every single time.

Sep 10th, 2015Pop and pour. A remarkable light gold color. On the nose: subtle notes of lemon, toasty vanilla oak , green apple, honey, slight pineapple on the end. Taste: creamy, soft, juicy wine with mandarin, minerals, honey, plenty of butterscotch, pineapple, hint of white pepper, and a dry slightly herbal bitters medium plus finish.... Eeh.
