Someone wrote kerosine. I was thinking oil. Why@does reisling do this? No idea. Very gulpable at first, then it's time to move on. This is no schloss Johannesburg or closter eberbach.

Ripeness at about the Spatlese level but quite dry, no heat, and a lovely, rich and acidic finish. I always ask myself why I don't drink more dry Riesling. Answer: because sweet Riesling is even better.
