I usually like Peter Jakob Kühn, but not this bottle. Not sure if it's the style or just this example, but the mid-plate came off as oxidative. Nevertheless, it is still a good riesling with intense and rich fruit aromas, and heaps of acidity which it nice tension against the creamy phenolic finish.

Crazy, natural wine that is truely authentic and reminds me of burgundy, but way more awesome because it's actually german, and made from reisling. Sort of smokey, weird funk floats on top of a vibrant stonefruit palate.

Nov 2nd, 2023Wow. Stunning. On the nose: dense lemon, lemon oil and soft peach. On the palate: slate and grapefruit in spades over more citrus. Dense, fantastic acid and a long finish. Not really like other GG wines I have had before.
