2011 Peter Jakob Kühn Riesling Amphore & This Mortal Coil’s debut. Both take something familiar, twist it a bit and create something magical on the other side. I’ve never had oxidative Riesling before & while not something I’d look for on a regular basis, the savory/earthiness adds to the typical fresh & acidic structure. This Mortal Coil are simply holy ground listening for me.
