I love this wine. Subtle nose, generous texture, incredibly refreshing. Aromas of cherry blossom, kaffir lime, citrus, and spearmint. Palate shows a touch of leesy goodness backed by riper orchard fruit. Then this wine moves to something that is reminiscent of cool mountain streams running over wet stones and is so cleansing on the palate.

Stunningly good cool climate SB. Crystalline and pure, zippy and intense minerality. Great weight, styled like a classic Sancerre or Pouilly Fume. Long elevage. Chestnut and acacia. Vineyards sit on the slopes above apple orchards. Very steep terrain. Phoenollically ripe. Delicious.

One of my favorite Italian whites. Starting to show nice complexity and textural richness with a few years in bottle.

Probably one of the better varietal Sauvignon you will try. Wonderful craftsmanship from Alto Adige, the forgotten corner of Italian wine. Fermentation at high temperature, maturation in acacia wood with regular bottonage, not your normal SB recipe. Perfectly ripe fruit, a dash of herbs and a stroke of honey over a pronounced stone crushed minerality. With time in the glass the minerality becomes even more nuanced and new buttery notes appears. Great texture on the palate where the savory quality comes again and brings the fruit throughout a long finish. 2 hours in the decanter, 12°C and time in the glass makes it even stronger.
