Second time with this wine. Some grip on open but after 3hr decant rewarded with leather, black olives - great depth. Tannins integrate and wine is so smooth. Winner

Medium acidity, well balanced, complex and earthy. Some tobacco. A lush Sangiovese with lovely mouthfeel. Thoroughly enjoyed with filet mignon with wild mushrooms!

Pairing with Ragù Bolognese. Tight and closed at first; needs time to open up. Tobacco, earth, and truffle/mushroom aromas and flavors with juicy cherry hints. Decanting this big boy is recommended.
