Palate is so fresh. Complex. Amazing.

1 person found it helpfulJul 4th, 2021Nose has freshly baked sourdough, grilled brioche, oxidized yellow apple slice, day-old lemon creme with Sherry-esque aromas.
Palate has Sherry soaked yellow apple, saline lemon zest, cold caramel, (light) limestone paste with an energetic and long finish. Best as it warms to room temperature.
Disgorged July 2017.
The best bottle in the entire Perseval-Farge portfolio.
A celebratory bottle for a presumptive Biden/Harris win.

1 person found it helpfulNov 7th, 2020Toasty nose, slightly oxidative, brioche and so so inviting. Amazing nose. Nose leads you to it possibly showing older and oxidative notes but palate is fresh and super elegant. Complex and so so fine. Refined and juicy with superb minerality and toastiness. Outrageous. So sappy and juicy. So finesse.

1 person found it helpfulApr 30th, 2017If a storm is coming over, might as well be a generous host! Similar to last bottle: lemon curd and black currant. Slight oxidative notes of hazelnut or praline and lovely brioche toast. Long finish. No vintage designation but disgorged 7/15 - @Lyle Fass would know how old this is
