Jan 2nd, 2018Don't get me wrong, it's infinitely more pleasant than almost any comparably-priced American chardonnay I've had, but it seems a little calmer than I was looking for. I realize that a low-acidity white is a mark of accomplished craftsmanship for a wine from Otago, but I think I tend to prefer something from Mâcon. That said, this wine is delicious, flavorful, and very enjoyable: taken for its own sake, I'd definitely buy it again, and enjoy the variety it brings to the world of chardonnay.
