Pomerol

Nose that is both fresh and full of roses, rose hips, bright red fruit and compact earth, seems very young. Silky soft though slightly sticky tannin, still has plenty of grip.

Liked this a lot but needs more time.

Consistent with prior bottles and notes. Great ethereal Pomerol.

Dark rubi robe with no signs of its age. A very complex and profound nose of dark cherries, flowers, blackcurrant and anise. In the mouth its ethereal and elegant, ready and will last some time still. Excellent second wine Lafleur, the greatest Pomerol there is.

Bday Bottle. Did not live up the name

Really never flourished as other older Pomerols do. Remained closed with high acid and tannings. Not bad bottle just not up to the chateaus name unfortunately.

Did not took detailed notes but this is a fresh, elegant, complex and very satisfying Pomerol. One of the best second wines of 1st growths in Bordeaux. 2012 is very much better than the vintage reputation.

Oh my, this is soooo good ! Violets, crushed roses, dark fruits, earthy, medium bodied, long, elegant. This is 1st growth quality and is now good to drink, albeit its obvious it will develop further. One of the best and finest wines fo the vintage. Enthusiastically recommended.

Great showing for one of our preferred wines. There is no rush as the underlying material is barely showing evolution now. Wonderful notes of dark berries, cherries and flowers. Please decant. Has a lot to it with great acidity and tanins and again no rush. Highly recommended !!
