Aged for 10 months on oak, 29% new, deep Ruby with aromas of sweet berry fruit and toasty oak notes. On the palate strawberry and cherry flavors with smoky oak notes adding in tea, spice and cacao notes. Fine soft tannins, lingering ending with a big mineral spice finish. Nice!

Black cherries, warm spice and fresh floral dominated by violets. Round, lush, full tannins. Ripe blackberries, dark cherries, black plum, dark raspberries, black licorice anise, sandy dark minerality, sticky chalk and tannins on the 👅, rich semi-sweet wet black earth, violets and long rich, ripe, lush high acid finish.

Again, I just don’t see what others are getting from this wine! At least it’s my last bottle. Almost a year from trying the last bottle and still a resounding no.

Never disappointed, always emblematic of a North Willamette Valley Pinot. Goldilock vintage. Excellent!

Classic Lynn Penner. Small vineyard family producer she has sourced from for years. Great partnership. This 2010 defies the challenges of the vintage. The birds did not prevail, rather, they likely assisted serious energy concentration where it was needed when it was needed!

Bright plum, tar, & cassis on the nose. Smoke, raspberry, and funky anise up front, with a juicy, fruit-forward middle. Finishes with tangy underripe plum, tea, & red currant. Unique. Medium tannins and acidity.

Deep deep dark fruit, chocolate undertones, Big Big Pinot will let it soften some, give it 3-4 months before we open next bottle!!
